Lupin Dental announces the world’s first supervised AUTOMATED MULTI-TREATMENT DENTAL ROBOTIC SYSTEM, initially demonstrated on complex aesthetic veneer procedures.
Montpellier, February 7th, 2025 – Lupin Dental SAS, an early-stage company focusing on innovative dental technology, is proud to announce the successful first clinical use of the Lupin® Dental Robotic System at Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Dental College and Hospital, Pune.
Lupin Dental conducting a post-market clinical study in India to demonstrate the safety and performance of its dental robotic system for minimally invasive tooth preparation procedures for aesthetic veneers. The trial is ongoing, with six patients successfully treated.
The team of Bharati Vidyapeeth University Dental College and Hospital, Pune, Dr Vijaysinh More (Principle Investigator), Dr Pankaj Kadam, Dr Santosh Jadhav, Dr Yogesh Khadtare (Co-Investigator) and Dr Sarah Mariam (Clinical Research Coordinator) are conducting this trial.
Today marks a pivotal step forward for us, says the Co-founder Galip Gürel. “The extreme precision and the repeatability of the system is providing the most minimally invasive tooth preparation for veneer treatments, one of the most challenging procedures in the field of aesthetic dentistry and democratizing this complex procedure for dentists at all levels”.
Minimally invasive restorative dentistry techniques offer numerous advantages which contribute to improved long-term stability and durability of dental restorations.

About Minimally Invasive Tooth Preparation
Minimally invasive restorative dentistry techniques offer numerous advantages over traditional approaches. These include preserving a healthy tooth structure, prioritizing the conservation of natural tooth material, and reducing the need for extensive tooth preparation, which collectively can contribute to improved long-term stability and durability of restorations.
Minimally invasive tooth preparation is challenging for the dentist, requiring precise tooth reduction of fractions of a millimeter. The use of automation in tooth preparation execution enables highly precise preparation, allowing dentists to produce the final laminate veneers in advance. This allows the dentist to prepare the tooth and bond the final laminate veneer in a single treatment appointment, avoiding the need for the dentist to create a temporary restoration and thereby avoiding the need for the patient to make further visits.

– Professors at the faculty of dentistry in Marseille for one and Istanbul for the other. World-renowned teachers with the goal of making clinical excellence accessible.
– International speakers for more than 20 years at the largest congresses and academies of dentistry. This activity allowed them to collaborate closely with the dental industry, to better understand its challenges and to have a global and global vision of the profession. Note that they are both “keynote speakers” for the world dental industrial leaders.
– Authors of founding and best-selling books in the field of cosmetic dentistry, in which each act, gesture and technique they invented are meticulously described and cataloged with the aim of making them reproducible.
It is the synthesis of their activities that shaped Lupin’s vision: the Lupin robotic system is the “digital version of their intellectual and manual expertise”.
