Michel Mayer has been appointed Chairman of the Board, and Philippe Veran joins as a Member of the Board. These appointments mark an important step in strengthening Lupin Dental’s governance and strategic direction.
With their extensive experience and proven leadership in their respective fields, Mr. Mayer and Mr. Veran will play a key role in guiding Lupin Dental’s growth and innovation strategy as the company continues to develop cutting-edge solutions for the dental industry.
Michel Mayer is a seasoned executive who served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Freescale Semiconductor, a leading U.S. semiconductor company spun out of Motorola. Prior to joining Freescale, he spent nearly two decades at IBM, where he held several senior leadership roles, including General Manager of IBM’s Microelectronics division.
Philippe Veran is an experienced French entrepreneur and leader in the dental technology industry. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biotech Dental, one of France’s leading manufacturers of dental implants, orthodontic aligners, and other advanced dental solutions, with operations and subsidiaries across multiple countries. Mr. Veran has built and led Biotech Dental for over three decades, driving innovation, international growth, and industrial expansion in the sector. Biotech Dental, has formed a strategic alliance with U.S. dental products and services giant Henry Schein, Inc. In April 2023, Philippe Veran has been recognized with the “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” for his contributions to the industry and economic development.
